• Location data: Real-time GPS location while the app is in use to match you with nearby drivers and track your ride.

• Usage data: Ride history, search queries, app interactions, and session duration.
• Payment information: Transaction records, payment method type (we do not store full card numbers).
• Communications: Messages or feedback you send to our support team.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the ALiN ride-hailing service.
• Match passengers with available drivers in real time.
• Process payments and send ride receipts.
• Send service updates, promotional offers, and safety alerts (you can opt out anytime).
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unsafe activity.
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations in India.
• Analyze usage patterns to improve app performance and user experience.

ALiN requires access to your device's location to function. Here's how we handle it:

• Foreground location: Used while you have the app open to show your position on the map and connect you with drivers.
• Background location (drivers only): Driver app may access location in the background to receive ride requests. Passengers are not tracked in the background.
• You can revoke location permissions at any time in your device settings, though this will limit app functionality.
• Location data is encrypted in transit and is not sold to third parties.

ALiN uses trusted third-party payment processors to handle all transactions.

• We do not store your full credit/debit card numbers on our servers.
• Payment data is encrypted using industry-standard TLS/SSL protocols.
• UPI, wallet, and card transactions are processed by PCI-DSS compliant partners.
• Transaction history is retained for accounting and dispute resolution purposes.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it only in these cases:

• With drivers: Your name, pickup location, and destination are shared with your assigned driver.
• Service providers: Trusted vendors who help us operate (payment processors, cloud hosting, analytics).
• Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or government authority.
• Safety: To protect the rights, property, or safety of ALiN, our users, or the public.

We take data security seriously and implement multiple layers of protection:

• All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.
• Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
• We conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users within 72 hours as required by applicable law.
